John Warasila is the founding Principal of Alliance Architecture and he established the firm in 1995. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in interior architecture. His technical expertise combined with his strong background have enabled him to be extremely effective in developing design concepts that respect strict budget and scheduling requirements. John directs the efforts of small and large scale projects, leads design teams and works closely with clients.
Vandana provides a broad range of experience in design and construction — both locally and internationally. Her technical expertise and strong design concepts inform her work, ranging from schematic design through construction administration.
She has received numerous awards, including much recognition from Downtown Durham, Inc. for Best Projects in 2004 and 2005 and from the Raleigh Preservation Society for Best Projects in 2005.
During his 32 years of practice, Phil has earned national attention as a designer of groundbreaking work environments for a wide range of international clients. Phil’s focus on every project is to maximize the inherent design opportunity as a means to improve the client’s overall success, earning him numerous design awards.
Phil is a recognized authority in the design of law offices with over 5 million square feet completed for major firms.
Tim has over 20 years of experience in corporate interiors, retail/restaurant, and adaptive reuse architectural services. His skills at managing complex projects combined with a strong design portfolio contribute to the success of his work and development of long-lasting relationships with clients.
Having first joined Alliance in 2005, Marcus enjoys the challenge of merging the “big idea” of a project into the smaller details. His experience includes adaptive reuse, commercial core & shell, corporate interiors, and complex mission critical facilities.
As demonstrated by his recent role as project architect for the Citrix-Raleigh regional headquarters campus, Marcus excels in executing multi-faceted projects with tight schedules.
As the Director of Business Development, Brenton manages all marketing, lead generation, and proposal development for Alliance’s NC, DC, and MD offices. She joined Alliance in early 2017 and is based in DC, where she has lived for more than 10 years. Originally from NC and with over 7 years of A/E marketing in the DC Metro area, Brenton brings her cross-market knowledge and communications expertise to the Alliance team.
