Alliance Architecture Receives the Imprint Award from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance

IMPRINT AWARDS – Raleigh Downtown Alliance
April 2017

Alliance Architecture’s work on 227 Fayetteville Street and the renovation of the Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant at 416 S. Dawson Street are among the nine projects honored with a 2016 Imprint Awards. Given by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, these awards recognize the development teams behind new public and building projects completed during 2016, with the year’s cumulative value of development surpassing $205 million dollars in the downtown Raleigh area.

Through the renovation of the former Wachovia Bank Building, originally built in 1964, Alliance transformed the property of 227 Fayetteville into 126,000 square feet of Class A office space in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

Alliance Architecture was responsible for the complete rehabilitation of the historic Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant for Personify. Spanning almost 14,000 square feet and paying close attention to restoring the building’s historic elements, the project was previously awarded the Anthemion Award, honoring excellence in historic preservation from Capital Area Preservation in August of 2016.
