Savona Mill Reborn
Located in the heart of West End, Charlotte, NC, Savona Mill was built in 1915 as a textile mill.
It was known as the Savona Manufacturing Company, Alfred Cotton Mill and Old Dominion Box Company. In early 2021, Portman Holdings, an Atlanta based development company purchased the building and commissioned Alliance Architecture to help with redevelopment.
As an adaptive reused project, this 180,000 SF complex is being redeveloped into a mixed used building.
Construction completion is targeted for 4th quarter of 2023.
