A former bank and office building located on Franklin Street across from UNC-Chapel Hill main campus was a tired failing property. Zapolski Real Estate acquired the property with a goal of revitalizing the site and housing UNC offices in it until the entire site could be envisioned as a much larger project. The short-term stabilization included lobby renovations, elevator modernization, restroom cores, and façade replacement on Franklin Street.
