District of Columbia Bar HQ

All attorneys practicing in Washington, DC must be a member of the District of Columbia Bar. It is the most prominent Bar in the world. Alliance worked closely with the leadership team to identify a developer, site, and shell building architect, to become its headquarters. We then designed the building from the inside out. The project is a white paper on how an association can own its real estate in lieu of leasing to further its mission. The design itself includes a state-of-the-art continuing education center, offices for staff, and roof terrace. Full utilization of the building and leased space supports the debt. The iconic building expresses the identity and brand of the DC Bar.
