Great architecture creates a space that encourages the well-being of individuals. Ample natural light and awareness of the surrounding view ignites a culture of collaboration and, for Pairwise Plants, highlights a natural setting of growing healthy fruits and vegetables. Building 3 at East Durham’s newly revitalized Golden Belt campus became the ideal home for Pairwise Plants due to its raw, open structure featuring vast windows on each floor. The space was designed to resemble a “mixing bowl” where administrative staff and lab technicians could walk out of their respective work zones on the 1st and 2nd floor and intermix in a centralized kitchen and common meeting rooms
